Jun 6, 2019Transition Blindside - Large
$800 USDThis is my 2011 Transition Blindside. This is a really fun bike to ride. Great for DH but it can also pedal well with the front derailleur. It a good year for the blindside because it still has the better DHX RC4 rear shock that they downgraded in later models. It has a like new, in perfect condition Fox Talas 180 RC2 fork that rips down hills at 180 and lowers for climbs to 140. Like New Deity Stem and Pedals. Like new Shimano Zee brakes and a custom handlebar. I upgraded the bike about 2 years ago hoping to ride it more but family life has kept me to the local trail network. No joke the new fork, stem, pedals, and brakes have 3 rides on them. The drivetrain is stock, tuned, and ready to ride. If you prefer a dual crown fork I can swap out the fox for the boxxer R2C2 that I originally had on the bike that has no issues at all.
The bike works perfectly but it needs new bearings because they have never been replaced. You can feel the slop in the rear, but its an easy $60 part and the bike will be mint once serviced. Transition has full parts support for this bike. https://www.transitionbikes.com/Store_List.cfm?C=Support&SC2=Blindside
I am pricing this to sell. With a little love to the bearings, this is a mint ride ready to give someone years of freeride fun. It is made to jump and give a lot of confidence in the air. I have the sticker kit to that it came with, as well as multiple springs to be included. Cheers!
