Amazing, nothing better to hear than someone say " no one has ever done this before, let's see what happens". In the mid 80's in Northern California there was a bike park called Calabazzas in Cupertino. At that time the park had one jump that only a few pros would hit, and I mean a few! It was called Shaka Zulu, it was a 3 1/2 foot high take off to a backside berm on a hill, and it was 32 feet, 37 if you landed frontside of the berm midway down. Scariest jump I have ever done, only did it once. Took half an hour to get the wigglies out of my legs, then all the speed you can muster in 50 yards. Wide open, no chickening out. Great vid guys, waiting for part 2.

I loved his words when he said, "someone has to try it and see what happens". I interpreted that as though he had said, I´m gonna push the line out further of what can be done in this sport, then others who think of themselves as good at it, will have to follow suit. No doubt some were born to lead, others, including myself, were born to follow. We have lost a big big one- may he rest in peace. I´m sure whereever he´s gone to, he will be setting the tone for others as well.
