The bike is ideal for taller people or adults. It was bought for our son who has since switched across to dirt bike/ dirt jumping and has a dedicated bike for this. The condition is pretty good although there are some marks on the paint consummate with usage and age. The bike hasn’t really been used for the past year and has been kept in dry storage.

For sale is my Enduro-spec Privateer 141 Gen 1. I bought this bike from Proper Cycling at the end of 2025 and stripped it down completely, replacing most parts with top-end enduro components, including Fox factory suspension, an increased-stroke rear coil shock (giving 147mm rear travel to complement the 160mm front travel), and a DT Swiss EX1700 wheelset. I am lucky to live and ride in Madeira for most of the year, so the Privateer was bought as my UK bike and as such has been used on only a handful of occasions since build (twice to Bike Park Wales, twice to Okeford Hill Bike Park and once to Peaselake). Most of the spec is from 2025 or 2026 and has therefore seen only a few hours of use. As my son has moved his Privateer 161 out to ride and race in Madeira, he has bought a new downhill bike for the UK, so I am tempted to follow suit, if only so I have a chance of keeping up with him on the steeps.
