First Look: Transition's All-New Spur is a Rowdy XC Bike
Looks great, although nothing particularly new (Turner was knocking out bikes likes this ages ago, although not with the flexstay). It would be a shame if this killed off the Smuggler. Perfection must surely be a Smuggler carbon frame with vastly improved rear tyre clearance (it's main Achilles heal) and a bit of a weight loss plan.

Radon Slide Carbon 160 8.0SE (Pikes, EX1501's, XO1)

$1350 GBP
2014 Radon Slide Carbon 650B 160 8.0 SE Size large (20”) – suit 5’10” to 6’2” (I’m 6ft and it fits like a glove). Metallic candy red. The frame weight is just 2.3kgs! This is a seriously lightweight 160mm All Mountain flyer, coming in at circa 12.5kgs listed weight. Full carbon frame with 12x142 DT Swiss rear thru axle Rock Shox Reverb stealth dropper post Rock Shox Pike RC Dual Position fork (160mm / 130mm) Rock Shox Monarch RT3 shock Sram 1x11 with XO1 rear mech and shifter and X1 crankset (10-42 cassette) KMC SL gold chain MRP upper and lower chain device Avid Elixir 9 Trail (4 pot) discs with 180/180 rotors DT Swiss EX1501 Spline wheelset (top of the range alloy wheelset with 240s-based hubs and tubeless ready) Schwalbe Hans Dampf front and Rock Razor (tubeless ready) rear tyres Raceface Atlas stem and handlebars Supercaz lockon grips DMR V8 pedals (brand new) I have owned the bike since new (I have the original receipt). I used the bike about 5 times in the first year I owned it with one trip to Afan and one long weekend in the Alps. I then started a company at the beginning of 2015 and the bike was used sparingly around the (flat) New Forest) before being completely mothballed as work took over. Earlier this year (2020), I flew the bike out to Madeira where I was spending the winter and enjoyed one day of riding with Freeride Madeira before busting my thumb which ruined the rest of my riding plans. The bike may not be brand new, but it has been lightly used, has relatively few battle scars (mostly from transporting than actually riding) and has an awesome spec, pretty modern geometry and is seriously light. Price to sell. No silly offers. No trades. No Paypal. No postage (cash on collection or bank transfer only). Thanks for looking.
