@loganwilliams: As someone who has done event coverage (mostly stills and written) I totally understand how tough it is to overcome massive discrepancies in field sizes. I don't think anyone is suggesting that this systemic issue fall on your shoulders to solve, and if they are they should try running around with a camera at one of these things and trying to get anything but a representative sample of the participation. From my perspective I just would have loved to see the same interview/background footage for the ladies. If one of the top female riders had been pulled to do the same thing you did with Seth and add a little commentary, plus some more start line interviews of the riders they mentioned, that would have done it IMO. As a fan and casual viewer I don't really care who I'm watching ride as long as the shot is interesting. It was more that background I felt I missed out on. I was there watching in person but didn't really know the story of either them men's or women's race, and after the video I felt like I still didn't have the story of the women's side. That's my 2c, I'm sure others have different opinions. It's a sick video and you did an absolutely banger job of running and gunning a shoot on such a massive course, basically solo. I loved the riding, the music, the organic interview style - the above is literally my only criticism. Hopefully it's constructive!

It would have been great to get the same background and coverage on the ladies. It's a rad video and it recapped the men's race really well, but the lack of women's coverage stands out as a pretty rough oversight.

What the whole Pinkbike Racing crew have accomplished here is phenomenal. I've been pretty checked out of the DH scene for the past few years and this series sucked me right back in. All the best to you Ben - can't wait to see what you bring us next.
