Man, if only the article you're commenting on has the answer you're looking for. That would be so cool.

Industry Digest: MIPS Settles $3.2M Infringement Case, Eurobike Announces Future Changes & More
@jpb1227: Whataboutism.
Cars are bad but so are scooters and motorcycles disguised as bikes that can go 50 mph and travel in the bike lanes. Two things can be bad at once.

Difference is you aren't expecting a 50 mph vehicle in a dedicated bike lane. A man was killed by an e-scooter going 45 mph on the queensboro bridge last month

It's a completely different animal than riding in traffic.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Care What Your Bike Looks Like?
Not too many bikes from big brands to pick from at this point. Everything has been homogenized into the same straight top tube bikes from everyone.

Review: The Forbidden Reya Throws Conventional XC Geometry Out the Window
@Birmingnar: For my personally the Spur (with 20mm less wheelbase) just wanted to come out of turns quicker and snappier. The Element's shock tune felt like it wanted to straightline everything instead. I had the bike for over 1000 miles too, tried all the 4 positions of the ride-4. It was an amazing bike (with hilariously small bearings that disintegrated) but a true XC bike it was not. I always felt like the spur was a bit stiffer and playful...also not an XC bike, but closer IMO.

It also reads like geo is stuck in 2015. The Spark that was just released has a 65.5*-66.3* HTA...it's perfectly normal to have that slack on XC bikes now...which is why downcountry has effectively died as a category of bike.

@Birmingnar: Spur is way more snappy and XC like than the Element. Element is a full on trail bike aside from it's weight. Spur splits the difference way better.
