SORCA & Tourism Squamish Launch $10,000 Trail Maintenance Matching Campaign
@wake-n-rake: usually the way grant works, is that they get assigned/approved to specific projects. Believe me I voiced my concerns on spending money on the Grizz or else, but these funds can not be moved nor transferred… seems like that campaign is actually going to be going more towards the trail crew itself, maybe not in the form of raised wages but maybe in more workforce . As for the new climb, new route is surely something that caught me by surprise but in my memory the scope was for around 30-35K.

SORCA & Tourism Squamish Launch $10,000 Trail Maintenance Matching Campaign
To anyone, that does not agree with SORCA’s decisions… each year new Directors are voted in place, to different positions (positions are running for 2 years, with staggered elections), AGM is the way to the change. It is open to any standing members.

SORCA & Tourism Squamish Launch $10,000 Trail Maintenance Matching Campaign
My only regret regarding Mikis was the timeline for award and execution , end of June… I believe I could have done much more and better with fall moisture…

SORCA & Tourism Squamish Launch $10,000 Trail Maintenance Matching Campaign
@wake-n-rake: as for previous builder opportunities, this REOI came up at the same time as Half Nelson refurb and Sthlm climb refurb. Climb got awarded to RideBc, half Nelson to Dreamwizard and mikis to SouthShoreDesign (myself).

SORCA & Tourism Squamish Launch $10,000 Trail Maintenance Matching Campaign
@wake-n-rake: that last hip jump had no chance to ever work , without a redo of the setup line before it (too much speed). As for the upper line the jumps were not consistent and progressive , going from short to long to short etc… without enough space to reset in between…

How's the pumptrack building? Mine is torn up so bad that I'm gonna get 4 huge dumptrucks to drop dirt on my destroyed PT. Then re-shape for mad abuse.

Wow your pumptracks are amazing, so smooth and creative.

Just wondering if you could give me a quick tip, Im building my own pumptrack and i need it to go up a slight incline. Whats the best shape of roller to keep lots of speed when going up?

Thanks
