Did the race in 1990. Same bike for the hill climb, DH and dual slalom. Bar ends with a bit of PVC pipe worked for bashing gates.
Herbold and Cindy Devine were winners of the DH. Tension disc and first gen rock shox ftw!

Was that the year that H-ball flatted and still passed people on the DH? I was there for that...pretty awesome times...riding from the top on all gravel roads, under the chain stay mounted U-brake and fully rigid was crazy...an amazing DH back in the day, I burned myself on my rims by accident...lol.
