@Hal-9001: That's a great question, at this point mostly from the feel of being deep into the stroke and it feeling very very harsh on any of our terrain here in the North Conway, NH area. (steep, loose a ton of roots and rocks, some of it very similar looking to the more natural stuff they are riding in this review) 30-33% sag, It feels as though you are stuck at the last .75% of the shock but it gets there very easily and doesn't even come close to bottoming out the last 10%. I raced ESC series for almost 4 seasons on Transitions V1 Sentinel 140MM rear and it felt like a cloud compared to this bike!

Field Test: Rocky Mountain Instinct - Geometry Vs. Suspension?
I own this bike now in C70 trim with the OEM super deluxe ultimate and cant get the rear sorted to save my life. 10% sag or 30% sag it just blows through 75% of its travel and sits at the last 25% the entire time. I'm hoping to call and get some resolution with someone from rocky to get a better shock tune as currently my 130mm stumpy with flex stays feels more confident inspiring and utilizes its full travel on descents better then this does!
I'm 185lbs so id be curious if anyone has any setup advice for the RS ultimate super deluxe or any other shocks that play well with this.
