Review: Fox 36 GRIP2 vs. RockShox Lyrik RC2 Fork
I guess you gotta start somewhere with the head-to-heads, but did anyone really expect anything other than a conclusion as, both fantastic... I guess Fox? (or RS depending on the reviewer). As long as this keeps going we wanna see shit like Helm Coil vs Ribbon Coil, Mattoc Vs Diamond...

Review: Cotic FlareMAX
I've been involved in the gear review side of snowboarding for nearly 8 years. Telling it like it is, no concern for brand alliances or ad dollars. At this point we're pretty much the only source worth a damn but there are major brands that still wont work with us. And you know what, it doesn't matter. Consumers aren't smart enough to recognize when a brand is being excluded and even if they do, when they find out it's because that brand won't send product, they don't care. The average consumer isn't looking to reviews to learn what fits them best, they look to them to confirm that the bike they already want is good enough that they won't be looked down on for riding it. Unless something is truly terrible you won't hear negativity from major media about it. The only solution is to run a site on viewer support (go find your favorite reviewer on the youtubes and see if they have a patreon btw) or non-bike industry supporters/advertisers. And are you gonna listen to a guy telling you the Giant Trance, Spesh Stumpy, or Trek Slash sucks when his main site sponsor is Gold Bond powder? Didnt think so.

Burning Question: Is Super Boost 157 Spacing Going to Become the New Standard?
Do it for 29DH. Makes sense there. But thats it. All we need is 15x110 and 12x148 for trail, XC, and AM. DH and Enduro stuff is relatively interchangeable so go with 20x110 and 12x157 for that.

First Look: Trek's New 2019 Remedy
@cdmbmw: every person I know on a slash, remedy, or fuel has play and for about half of them it's worn to the point the fork crown can contact the downtube. Treks andwer to us was "yup, it's more or less designed to wear out." Unnecessary changes that complicate or add parts that can/will wear out is always poor design.

First Look: Trek's New 2019 Remedy
I really appreciate when bike companies ADD parts designed to wear out. I'm glad they stiffened the frame up with the straight downtube. I know that literally no one complained the Remedy frame was too flexy, but if Trek says it was, then it was. I'd rather replace knockblock every 2 months than have an unnoticeably flexier frame. Or I could just ride a steel hardtail. Decisions!
