The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 76 - MTB Originals and Copycats
MIPS. Nearly everyone adopted it, now there are a bunch of copycat slip-plane designs out there. Whoever came out with the first helmet with big rectangle vents. I wanna say maybe POC? Finally our helmets didn’t look like vented skate helmets or road helmets with more coverage and a visor.

The rider that spends their money at the local shop. Surly Bikes. Never afraid to be weird and adopt early. In defense of the Spark vs the 111; there is always the debate on who gets credit in this situation. The “before it’s time” or the “trend setter”. I have always been of the opinion that timing of the product is just as relevant for this discussion as the product itself. The introduction of the Spark is a lot more in line with the trend start, still in production, and as Brian said they’ve sold metric tons of em.

Favorite tool is by far a good shop apron. Stay clean, wipe your hands, tools always at the ready, and WAY less likely to lose small bits and parts.

Review: 6 Hard-Hitting Rear Tires Ridden & Rated
I know I know "my tire wasn't featured, so this is a bad test!" And I get it seems like this was a tire brand test, but no Bontrager or Slesh seems like a miss. Would have loved to see the SE5 in this list personally.
