Green Oil: An Environmentally Friendly Chain Lube? - Review
I don't care. The whole concept of enviro chainlube and tire sealant is ridiculous. Its not like you are dumping enough quantity on the ground or in water to have any effect. If you had enough riders on any trail in numbers needed to have an effect on the soil quality or water quality you would not want to be there anyway. This is virtue signaling marketing nonsense and all the huggers who downvote this know it, which is why they will attack me ruthlessly. Use your brains people and common sense. It's not like we are washing our bikes down with gasoline and soaking them in oil. My god what rubbish.

Time Annouces New Speciale 12 Enduro Pedal
@YoKev: I'm in a similar spot with the knees and size. I would recommend you try some Times. I rode XTR Trails since they came out and hated the sketchy release under heavy climbing pressure and out of balance situations that led to bothersome release points. Time MX-8 is same exact weight and the cleat pedal interface is superior and never releases prematurely. The small amount of lateral play built in lets my knees self adjust to the alignement I need.

Carbon Fiber Valve Stems, An Improved Dropper, and 6D's Updated Helmets - Interbike 2017
@Smevan: I used to feel the same. In my moto racing days nobody did, but I bought a Harbor Freight wheel balancer on a whim and realized how much my wheels could vary in balance. So I got weights and balanced them. I noticed a definite smoothness afterwards. Recently I saw that Gwin had weights on his wheels as well. So I got some cheap stick on weights and am trying them. I may have reached the point of excess in this pursuit as I am not certain I can notice a diff at the speeds I ride.

Actually battery shaming would be more appropriate...but oh most already do that.

Carbon Fiber Valve Stems, An Improved Dropper, and 6D's Updated Helmets - Interbike 2017
@Smevan: Actually, every tire has a certain built in imbalance in it due to manufacturing tolerances. Install the heavy side opposite the valve hole and you have balance. The closer the heavy side gets to the valve itself the more "out of balance" the wheel feels. That is why on DH bikes some mechs will install a small wheel weight opposite the valve to counter this which actually can be felt at top speeds. All of this is very small effects on MTB's and much more prevalent the faster the vehicle(think moto and road)

Pinion and Gates talk about their new partnership in the US - Interbike 2017
I know these have a 600% range but what is the min/max on a Gates cog in front and rear? That determines final gear range that I'm focused on.
