Now Finished: Ask Me Anything with Chris Ball on Organising Future World Cups
Thanks for all questions and I appreciate I couldn't answer them all tonight. We'll keep releasing details throughout this year and look forward to 2023.

It'll take a few years to work the world calendar into the cohesive structure we're aiming for but in short yes, we will blocking events together to avoid this happening

Hi @madlyrotating, We met with XCO and DH team representatives officially on Saturday morning in Leogang and are working with them to put structures in place that'll allow us to flow information to all teams as the year progresses.

Juniors in DH, U23’s in XCO and qualifying sessions are a really important part of World Cup events and also the future of our sport. We really want to bring mountain biking’s future heroes to a bigger audience and we'll be working on how we can do that over the coming months.

The EWS has had an incredibly diverse calendar to date; we’ve hosted races in Chile, Colombia and Argentina. We’ve also taken racers to places like Derby in Tasmania that have never hosted international racing before. Our Qualifier Event series spans venues from the Arctic Circle to Lesotho in Africa, the Philippines, the Caribbean and the Middle East - it’s vast and allows racers to compete closer to home to gain Qualifier points if they want to move into the main EWS races. I love all our venues, the Tweed Valley is our home event so it's close to my heart but this year will also be our tenth year in Finale Ligure. I honestly couldn't say my favourite, there's too many to choose from.

I totally agree and as a priority we're currently looking at how we can broadcast a full race run in DH so we can watch all the action unfold.

We're aiming to visit more North American venues in the coming years. We'll put Durango on the wish list!
