Sina Frei's Wild Ghost Lector at Stellenbosch World Cup XCO - Bike Check
Why use superlight rims and then have to stuff noodles in that probably add 50%to the rim weight. I don't get it

Hope Cuts Price on Made-in-England Carbon Bike
@FLATLlNE: the problem is the bike is littered with non standard dimensions so you can't use anything other than what it comes with

2017 Pinkbike Awards: Comeback of the Year Nominees
I wouldn't say any of them have had comebacks. Loic has just had a bad season, Ryan is doing nothing new, he has just got an adult sized bike to do it on. Sam is the closest but even so its not like he has spent the last few years tending to his garden

2017 Pinkbike Awards: Innovation of the Year Nominees
Definitely the Definitely the Naild R3Act suspension. If only because its the only one that is innovative. The other 2 are just daft ideas backed by big marketing budgets

Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Change About Red Bull Rampage?
I would make the following changes. - Change the venue every year. It doesnt have to be another country. Just enough so riders cant use any of the prior years build work - Stop riders sharing a line for 2 reasons. Firstly to stop them building a groomed line. Secondly I would make the event about the line they choose. I would accept a small proportion of shared lines where the topography meant it funnelled riders into common areas. - Limit dig time and dig crews to reduce the ability to build stuff To me its supposed to be about crazy lines and just enough spade work to make them do able, not trickable.

Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Change About Red Bull Rampage?
@nzstormer: I think some of the tricks are coming because several riders are teaming up to build the same line. Thats fine, but if you want to win you have to do more tricks to differentiate yourself from the other riders on the same line. Thats a problem for me as it becomes about the tricks
