Review: 6 of the Best New Pedal-Friendly Knee Pads
I've had the opposite experience. With my Raceface Ambush strap ons they have always slid down after an initial impact but now I've got the Fox Enduro Guard sleeve style ones. They pull far enough up the thigh they're held up really well, and once you get a little sweat in there they stick to your skin and don't move at all.

Specialized Announces New Trail-Series Apparel Collection
I love having a full-size over the helmet hood. When you're out in the sh!t for a big ride and need to preserve every bit of heat you can a hood is a great way to stay warm. I rarely use it while actually riding, but a lot of winter rides for me end up with a fair bit of hike-a-bike and standing around in the rain. What I can't stand is an under-the-helmet style hood.

Video: Technical Trials Inspired Trail Riding in Scotland
This is great! Top creative riding and awesome to see something different and fresh on PB. I didn’t hate the music either, totally fit the video’s vibe. Nicely done all round.

Bontrager Release BITS Integrated Stem Tool System
@Klainmeister: Specialized makes their "SWAT" bib shorts that have 3 pockets integrated into the back panel of the bib straps. Awesome for snacks/phone/whatever else, but I try to avoid hard sharp objects like everybody else commenting here too. Pretty sweet to be pack-free for everything except those all day "epics," since I've got my tube/pump/tools strapped to the frame with a Dakine gripper pouch.

First Ride: 2020 Rocky Mountain Slayer
@mybaben: Yeah, it only made sense for me to do because I already had a 54t ratchet kit from a different wheelset layin' around and I felt like experimenting at the shop.

First Ride: 2020 Rocky Mountain Slayer
@mybaben: you can upgrade 370s from 3 pawl to a ratchet ring drive system. You need a different axle thrust washer, freehub body, the hub ring-nut, and ratchet ring kit itself and you can turn a 370 into a 18, 36, or 54 point-engagement hub using "350/240" replacement parts. The driver body seal just needs to get moved over from the hubshell to the freehub body. Kinda spendy in parts and you need DT shop tools to do it, but it's possible. I did it on my 370 hubs with no issue.

Interview: Lael Wilcox on Ultra-Endurance Racing & Having the Courage to Take on the Men's Field
Why do you get to define bike racing? It’s a different kind of bike racing for sure, but ultimately whoever has less time on the clock while going from A to B on a bicycle wins, and that’s fuhgin bike racing. Horses for courses. Tour de France and Downhill are worlds apart, but they’re both bike racing and so is this.
