We've been seeing pics of the return of "the captain" tire from specialized for over 1.5yrs now. Still nothing from them nor on their website. Looks like an even smaller knob version of the Rekon Race. Just curious if it blows up as wide as the Rekon Races do.

PP or LL for the females. For the dudes this course has Pidcocks name all over it.. The non stop switchbacks up through the forest (think there was about 8 of them) which were all tight and kind of chunky. Then coming down it's all off camber and almost sandy (think cx, yes i know mvdp is world champ in cx). The only "power" sections are kind of at the start and finish. Not saying mvpd is only a power rider, but he's not a switch back climber like TP or even nino for that matter.. I would be amazing for mvdp to get this win just so he can go down in the history books joining PVP as the only one to have all 3x world titles in the same year. I don't think anyone else has done that other than her. I "think'. This course fits someone right in the middle of those top 3: Skillwise it goes (duh this imo) nino pidcock mvdp Power/Form it goes mvdp pidcock nino. pidcock is the most well rounded for the course. I guess don't count of flucky, but you never know with him. Also sam guaze did just win the xcc.. hope it's a close exciting race.

OMG, speak the truth about the nipple corrosion. My buddy blows through spokes non stop on his traverse. On the flip side.. All the rovals other than the traverse with the nipple problems have been flawless.

@brookscurran: Exactly. He's the freaking XCC world champ and has won XCO. Also the really big thing to factor in is he's only 25 yrs old. So to only be 2yrs out of the u23 and already a world champ at XCC and a WC XCO winner is pretty damn impressive. Give him another couple of years and he will be more consistent up in that top 5 area.

@excel: This for sure.. Dawn will work, however the detergents in Dawn are pretty strong for your silicon/rubber/seal parts of your bike. Yes it will work no problem and 100% you can use dawn. Just know over time it can be a bit harsh on those parts. This is where car wash comes in. Most car wash is formulated to emulsify dirt without hurting/fading the plastic bits of your car (or bike in our case). Thus, it's "better" for your plastic/seals/silicon bits vs. dish detergent. pro tip, check out the "no rinse" car washes.

Good News: Bart will be there. Also good news is there is no more Lauren Smith. She was the worst. She was more interested in creating drama and asked horrible questions. Cracked up that one time she tried to stir up drama with Jenny Rissveds , and Jenny just looked at her like she was an idiot. Bad News: Obviously no more Rob sucks. Wish they could have figured out how to have him back.

@specialized.. Why is your grid casing the only one that blows up to actual advertised (or above) volume? On 30mm IW rims you control and s works casing don't come close. The grids do though.
