Video: Riding Annecy's Steep & Gnarly Trails
Went camping with the family through Annecy this late August. Was ready to do some of those shuttles on a rented bike on Day 2. But Day 1 I broke my hand in the skatepark, skating with my son. Day 2 was a hospital day. :(

First Ride: The 2019 Cannondale Habit is Shockingly Normal
first time I've ever seen someone look really good ripping and jumping a 29'er. First one I've even slightly thought about purchasing.

Photo Epic: Slopestyle - Crankworx Whistler 2018
Ho-Lee Fuk. That pic of Rheeder's half-cab....notice he rides right off FAKIE. Does not hop around half cab style (easier) off the rear wheel. He pops off his front wheel, going backwards. Wonder if the judges noticed that? I don't think you can compare the 2 runs. Both totally different. Both bloody amazing.

Results: Slopestyle - Crankworx Whister 2018
Not cool of redbull director telling the camera dude to follow Rheeder after that huge crash. Low class and give the dude a break. Love Macayla but she needs on-screen interview training. Still best Joyride ever, thanks to the riders.

Santa Cruz Heckler for 10-13 yr old

$400 CAD
Santa Cruz Heckler, built tough for your little ripper. Perfect bike for Whistler at a great price. XS size, manitou forks and I've put on much wider, modern stem and race face bars. Big, wide Michelin's bounce through the gnar. Can take anything your 80-115 lb kid could throw at it. Nothing wrong with it at all - wheels perfectly true, brakes (avid juicy) dead on and shifting works excellent.

22" wheels (not 20") - Encore Anthem

$400 CAD
20" a little too sketchy? Hard to do the tricks on a 24"? Try a 22" BMX. Stable as a 24 but jumpy as a regular 20'. Pretty much only ridden this bike in skate bowls. Lots of upgrades - 2.1 Mainline tires, WTP bar, heat duty stem, Sensus grips. Nothing is wrong with this bike, excellent condition, true wheels. Will trade + $$ for a DJ. Comes with new 22" tube and extra set of tires.

Remembering Stevie Smith, 1989-2016
I was just at the Stevie Smith bike park last weekend. I was blown away by the amount of under 13 yr old talent at that park. 8--9 yr old girls blasting 8-10 feet over the wooden doing insane gaps throughout the pump track. No town in the world, over the next few years, will be able to compete with the talent that Nanaimo and the Stevie Smith bike park is pumping out. Chainsaw IS long lived.
