Review: e*thirteen's Updated TRS Race 29'' Tire
@Dobba84: Try the Plus. I run the TRS plus in the rear and it's lasted all spring and summer so far. It's wearing very nicely and I ride a lot of rock slab and loose rock.

Review: e*thirteen's Updated TRS Race 29'' Tire
Been running their wheels, tires, and cassettes for a few years now and they have been outstanding. For sure there were some bad products years ago, but the past few years they have been super solid. They seem to be gaining more OE spec too, so I guess some bike brands agree!

Review: e*thirteen's Updated TRS Race 29'' Tire
I can tell you I love them in the wet, as do many of the guys I ride with. Levy didn't say they didn't work in the wet, just that he felt a few others worked better. I hate the Conti's he wrote about in the wet, so it sometimes comes down to personal preference...

Review: e*thirteen's Updated TRS Race 29'' Tire
Tire reviews are super subjective. I find these to be fantastic in the wet, but again that's my opinion. I found Conti der Barons to be a horrible tire in the muck, but then different strokes for different folks. Other recent reviews of these have also said their wet traction is great, including NSMB who tested on the wet shore...

Review: Commencal's Supreme DH 29 is an Unflinching Race Weapon
@Socket: Fair enough. I haven't ever ran any of their lowest level cranks (what are on this Commencal) but I've ran their TRS+ and LG1+ cranks and they have been great. I've bent Descendats a few times but the Plus level E13 were perfect. Plus level E13 cranks are comparable to Saint/XT cranks in terms of aluminum used...These E13 LG1 would be similar to a Truvativ Hussefelt.

Review: Commencal's Supreme DH 29 is an Unflinching Race Weapon
Lol. How did the crank fall apart? Me and my buddies have had awesome luck with their rims and wheels (as did this reviewer as there was no issues written about). In fact he praised the hub (their base level hub) and cassette. I had some hub issues with E13 years ago, but their components the past few years have been spot on for me. I've had way worse luck with DT, Mavic and Spank rims the past few years...

Review: Commencal's Supreme DH 29 is an Unflinching Race Weapon
Those are the base LG1 cranks (Deore level) so not comparable to Saint or SIXc. Commencal should have spec'd a slightly higher end crank on here for real abuse. The LG1+ is made of higher end alloy so might have been a better fit...

Pinkbike Poll: Is There a Chain Guide on Your Bike?
E13 TRS Race SL top guide is all I need. Super light and cheap. Looks great too. Don’t see a reason not to use it.

Bike Check: Jesse Melamed's Rocky Mountain Instinct - EWS Petzen-Jamnica 2018
I agree. Thought the finish would hold up a bit longer than that. Disappointing for sure.

Review: e*thirteen's New TRS Plus 12-Speed Upgrade Kit
GX and NX Eagle cassettes are heeaavvy though. Not everyone wants to add a quarter to half pound to the back of their bike.
