The New YT Capra - Everything You Need to Know
@j-wasilenko: Totally personal preference, but the E13 cassette shifts WAY better than the XT 11-46 cassette. The 37-46 jump on the XT cassette sucks and it's HEAVY. E13 tires are the favorite of many of my riding buddies who have previously been on Minions, so for us the YT E13 spec is a bonus!

e*thirteen TRS Race SL Carbon Wheels - Review
Even without a discount they have them on for $1275 a set. Pretty decent for a wheelset with lifetime warranty!

That’s why the also have the 31mm internal TRsr. The comparison Mike does isn’t really comparing apples to apples.

Return of the Goat - Video
They're just using e13 cassettes for the most part in order to use more Shimano derailleurs and shifters. 90% of the cranks they are using are RF....I MUCH prefer the e13 cassette to the crappy Shimano XT cassette (much more range, lighter, and better shifts in the small gears) so not sure what you're really talking about?

YT Industries Releases Autobiographical Video, New Branding & 2018 Range
@StraightLineJoe: Heard the opposite, that Gwin actually went many races with the same carbon wheelset, and on races where he did break a rim, he was able to finish the run. The teams using alu rims in those races went through 6 or 7 rims where Gwin went through 1 or 2. Wheels need to hold up to win races and I think Gwin has proven the E13 carbon wheels are up to task. Even The PB review said that their test set were early sample wheels to start, and when they got the production wheels they held up to over a year of bike park and freeride abuse and are still going strong. I did hear the issue about crank removal (happened to my friend and E13 took care of him), but sounds like all new cranks come with self extractors now. I personally are loving my wheels and post. Been using both for a season and have had zero issues...E13 is on track and learning from past mistakes for sure...

YT Industries Releases Autobiographical Video, New Branding & 2018 Range
I’ve had the opposite experience. Super smooth shifting, zero creaking and it’s been very durable so far. When to top teeth do wear out (as they do on XX1 and X01 Eagle as well) I’ll just replace the large cluster of the cassette. PB nominated the cassettes for component of the year and many agreed with the decision, so I think this a good move by YT. I know so many people with Eagle who have problems keeping the derailleur adjusted properly. Add to that the weight of the system, and the massive length of the derailleur and I for one am happy they are staying 11 speed!

2017 Pinkbike Awards: Component of the Year Winner
The new TRS+ 9-46 is $250 and is only 40g heavier than the TRSrace. It’s still over 100g lighter than the GX cassette though. @carym:

I’d just buy the new e*thirteen 9-46 TRS+ cassette. It’s on sale a lot of places right now for $225. It’s identical to the TRS Race cassette but weighs 40g more. Still over 100g lighter than GX Eagle cassette and has more range. I use mine with XT 11 speed and the shifts are smooth and crisp.

2017 Pinkbike Awards - Component of the Year Nominees
I'm running one as well (as are all my riding buddies) and it works great. The new TRS+ is even cheaper and works just as well. As mentioned above Santa Cruz uses them on their XT kits so there are a bunch out there. Cheaper upgrade than full GX Eagle and more range. Win/win.
