Review: NS Bikes Synonym TR1 - Not Your Typical XC Bike
Hold up - has randwick woods actually made it into pinkbike?! ????
Great review. Interesting to see NS go down the XC route! But seem to be keeping with their DNA at least

Last Launches the 29" Aluminium Glen Trail Bike
I have a Last Rufus jump bike, one of my favourite bikes I’ve ever owned. They went through a spell of making some gorgeous and unbelievably good steel hardtails. This bike looks really promising but I’ve been waiting for them to make a steel full sus. Would smash all the current models out the water!

Last Launches the 29" Aluminium Glen Trail Bike
I have a lesser known Last Rufus, an older cromo jump/4x frame
And it’s one of the most playful and comfortable bikes I’ve ever owned! The quality of the frame is nuts, everything down to the inbuilt tensioners, dropouts, brake mounts, welds...
Even the paint work is super high quality! (Mine is a pearlescent green/bronze)

Pinkbike Poll: How Often Do You Replace Your Tires?
I would like to change my tyres seasonally... as soon as the weather gets wet I start looking at tyres for the slop. However by the time I’ve chosen tyres the sun is back out.
I then repeat this until I start getting tonnes of punctures from having no tread ????

Opening Weekend Survey 2018: What People Are Riding at the Whistler Bike Park
I guess to manufacturers, they see the 40% 26” riders and identify them as consumers who aren’t buying new bikes so aren’t worth catering for. Tyres wear and once in a blue moon a rim needs replacing, but I guess manufacturers dont see the point aiming new products at riders who are down to earth and don’t want to just upgrade for the sake of it.

Apr 17, 2018BRAND NEW Whyte 901 Medium 27.5+ 130mm hard tail
$850 GBPI'm selling my Literally brand new 2018 Whyte 901 bike in Medium Link to exact bike - https://www.leisurelakesbikes.com/144184/products/whyte-901-27-5-hardtail-mountain-bike-2018-lime-eucalyptus.aspx
Selling as it was the insurance's idea of an 'equal' replacement for my commencal Meta which was sadly stolen.
In fairness, this bike is really bloody good, the spec is great and it feels so fun and lively from the short blast round the woods I've had on it. It's just not quite the hardcore bike I'm used to. Would be perfect for most trail center use, and It would be perfect for longer distances, or rides with a lot of climbing in.
It can handle blue-red level jumps with a lot of confidence too, but as someone who has come from a dirt jump and downhill background, I need something that can handle my abuse!
As I say it's brand new, and the only use it has had has been a quick mission down the canal path and an uphill climb to the woods where I've rode some local trails to try and love it like my commencal.
Size wise, it's perfect for me at 5.7" and would suit riders up to I'd say 5.10" or so, but not likely any smaller than 5.6"
Spec is as follows (PLEASE NOTE! Rockshox reverb not included as this is a cycle scheme purchase, so cannot be sold. And I love it too... ):
