Nov 24, 2012Marzocchi 888 RC2X WC - 200
$250 GBP2007 Marzocchi 888 RC2X World Cup - 200mm front suspension forks, these forks were the very top of the range forks in their day, they come with titanium springs, nickel stanchions, alloy steerer, adjusters for spring preload x2, rebound damping, high and low speed compression damping so you can dial them in exactly as you want them.
These forks came with a DH bike I bought back in 2008, I didn't use them very much, just a few times a year till 2010 when I swapped them for Boxxers.
The stanchion and bushes have been replaced on warranty due to a problem with corrosion in 2009 and I've hardly used the fork since so they are as good as new. The corrosion wasn't particularly bad but I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I asked if I could get them changed and they said they would do it free of charge :)
I've also just put new oil in just in case the oil had gone off as they haven't been used for at least 2 years.
Steerer length 208mm
Weight with oil, brake adaptor and start nut thing in steerer 3.38kg
