First Look: 2022 Trek Roscoe Hardtail
I agree, I get the whole plus tires not being needed on an fs bike argument, but the bike industry is making a mistake phasing them out on hard tails.

Feb 3, 2019Charge Cooker Maxi 2 (Purchased Oct 2017)
$800 CADGood condition, purchased new just before last winter. Around 10-15 rides last winter on it and 3 this year. Taken in for a tune up in September 2018. Stock except Anwser Atac 40mm stem, Amazon-Special Flat Pedals.
Brakes are Tektro Hydraulic and actually pretty good. Drive train is SRAM X-5 2 x 10, the 2 by is pretty handy in the snow.
Feel free to ask any questions.

Jan 27, 2019Brand new set of Spank Oozy Trail 395+ 29'' rims
$200 CADI ordered these rims off the internet a couple months ago to build a completely new wheel and have now decided against it and am just going to lace new 28 hole rims to my existing hub. These are 32 holes so I don't really have use for them anymore. They are brand new with tags still attached. Sorry about the snipped internet photo, at my SO's house and only have a photo of the tags, just to show you the color (black - black).
I got the rims on sale for about 100 each + ~70 tax and shipping so I think the price is fair. Can meet in KW, or Toronto if weekend.

Jun 23, 2018Transition Trail-or-Park (plus bonus parts)
$1000 CADABOUT THE SALE/TRADE:
-Picked up a new hardtail trail bike recently, so this one never gets ridden since I'm not very into DJs or skate park riding anymore.
-I will consider pretty much any bike related trade, road or gravel bikes, BMX bikes, freeride/DH bikes, whatever.
-Would also consider trading for a collection of spare parts depending what they were, especially need a nice set of trail or DH brakes.
-Would also possibly consider trading for non bike things, namely a nice pair of fat skis, a kayak.
-Basically please don't be afraid to message me with a trade offer if you're interested in the bike, as long as the trade is reasonable (could possibly work something out to add cash on either side in needed however).
-I would also sell, but not for much under 1000, for the amount I've put into it I would rather just keep it at that point.
-Available for pickup in Waterloo or Scarborough. Or if you are somewhere in between those two places I can potentially come to you.
ABOUT THE BIKE:
Bit of an odd set up on it as you can see, I was planning on making it like a fun little hard tail DH bike. Got some new parts over the winter to do this (see below), including new spike spank race 28 rims, which I've been too lazy to put on, but will happily throw in with the sale if desired. Also have a new blue eclat sprocket to keep with the theme if you want.
The build is pretty much indestructible, but not the lightest by today's DJ bike standards (~28 pounds). If you wanted to go back it being a DJ bike, you could definitely shed some weight pretty easily with new tires, taking off the one or both breaks (also looks a lot prettier without the mismatched breaks). I think a big reason it's heavy is the fork, being a lowered fox 36, so if you happen to have a rigid fork or something lying around, that would probably save a lot too. The new spank rims are also lighter then whats currently on there.
Fork: Fox 36, lowered to 100 mm
Frame: Transition Trail-or-Park, I think it's a size small, I'm 6'3 though and I like the size of it for a DJ bike.
Cranks: Sputnic
Bars: Spank Spike
Pedals: Raceface Chester (NEW)
Grips: NS Bikes Hold Fast (NEW)
Tires: (front) Magic Mary Evo Folding Bead Trail Star 2.35'' (NEW); (rear) Kenda Small Block 8 2.35''; Can throw in a K-Rad if desired
Chain: KMC (NEW)
Hubs: NS Bikes rear, Woo Industries front (idk either, it has a 20 mm front axle)
Seat: Nukeproof Vector (NEW)
Rims: Can come with (NEW) spank spike race 28, currently Mavic ex721 front, Alienation PBR rear
Sprocket: Can come with a (NEW) Eclat Vent sprocket; Currently a Premium one on there (actually a pretty nice sprocket its just purple)
Brakes: Avid Elixir Carbon (Rear), Clarks Exo Skeletal (NEW) (front)
