Apr 19, 2023Transition Sentinel carbon V2 Large with Fox X2 FRAME
$1600 GBPMy trusty Sentinel is up for sale. I have been very happy with this bike for the last two years (purchased April ‘21) but I now have a new bike and can’t justify running them both.
It is pictured as a bike because I haven’t stripped it down yet. I will upload more photos of the bike/frame at the weekend.
It is in good condition with only a few marks on the transition stickers on the down tube from stone chips but to be expected as it has been used. I also run a hardtail in the winter so had less really manky weather thrown at it than most.
Shock is freshly serviced so is sweet as a nut. I always fancied a coil shock for it but the X2 actually worked fine.
If you have any questions please ask away.

Oct 12, 2020Large Transition Sentinel
$900 GBPHi folks,
Please find my awesome Transition Sentinel for sale. I have tried to include the few bad bits of the paint in the photos but generally its really good nic.
A lot of the marks are only to the invisiframe kit that has been on since it was new. Was tempted to peel it off to make it look even better for photos but I'll leave that to the new owner.
As you probably know it has 140mm travel but it is very slack and so descends really well on the proper steep stuff-I've never felt underbiked despite the relatively low rear travel. Despite its weight it climbs really well too. It builds up to be pretty bombproof and I have had no problems with it at all. The bearings will all be replaced for the new owner-they are not knackered by any means but they will all be buttery smooth for whoever gets it.
Its designed for a 160mm fork but I have seen them fitted with 170s. It has SBG-Speed Balanced Geometry which means Transition use a reduced offset fork to allow for good handling/steering even though its so long and slack.
31.6 seat tube diameter
148x12 rear end (boost)
This Large has a 475 reach and at 6 foot on the button it fits me perfectly. Having said that the standover is so low it would prob be good for 5'9 to 6'1ish. Check online for exact dimensions.
NB it does not include the Hope evo cranks and BB. It DOES include the headset, rear axle and seat clamp.
Also, I live in Edinburgh and am happy to drive an hour or so to deliver if needs be, or I can post at owners cost- I have a box sitting!
