I can only ride single crown forks.180mm for life.wish I did like big boy forks though but can still do anything they can on my totems.

I guess it was mostly covered, but I will elaborate - I personally prefer riding bike parks and trails like this on a 170-180 front and rear bike, but for rowdy dh riding, dual crowns are superior if you want to go fast. However, if you don't care about your time, I think popping around on a mini-dh through dh terrain, not charging but truly "freeriding", is loads of fun. Like billygoating and smashing pillows on skis.
IMO, if you're planning on racing, a 160mm bike, dh bike and an xc rig if you are inclined, is the ideal stable. Otherwise, I would choose a 140mm bike and a bike like that rose soul fire he's riding

I read an article about this being a 'super-enduro' bike, is this true or is it built for freeride?

Hi FergusDillon,
It is a typical freeride bike but we´ve also heard of people doing multi-day tours in the Alps with it.
With the 2 by 10 drivetrain it is dedefinitively capable of big climbs.
Main reason for that are the superb anti squad values.

I might be taking the bait on this one, but what the f*ck is super enduro? Is that like freeride except you all run strava and goggles and 3/4 length riding gear in neon colors? @FergusDillon I'm not picking on you, just whoever wrote that article you read.
I don't care that much about terminology, but when we are constantly changing terms for the shit we ride based on the marketing we are fed, we really just play into the stereotypes of the gearhead, old rich guy/audi driving bro sterotype. We ride bikes, because it's fun. Ride what you want, for whatever reason, based on the terrain you wish to ride, and how you want to ride it.
