Cotic Launches the New 4th Generation Rocket
Big fan of the new headtube badge and the yellow colour. As a measure of how good my Gen 3 Rocket is, I'm more excited to ride that again than I am to go for a beer once this lockdown is over.

Sheffield's Wharncliffe Trails at Risk
@matwilliams: I agree with Mat. Dalby used to be my local trails and i went back last month for the first time in a while. It used to be a hive of mountain bike activity but now they don't even get enough use to keep the bike shop open so they've moved out of the forest. The logging has been noticeable but I wouldn't say excessive. However, spending £9 a day in parking to ride trails that have barely had any money spent on updating them in years and are maintained by volunteers annoys me.

Video: An Epic Road Trip to Portes Du Soleil
This is sick, making me want to do an Alpine riding holiday even more.

Review: Cotic FlareMAX
I tested a Cotic Rocket at their HQ a few weeks ago and it was fantastic, so confidence inspiring I hit a descent for the first time at full speed and launched myself headfirst into a tree. I've tested a couple of other bikes since but nothing felt as good. Now I just need to decide which of their Droplink bikes I want to go for.

Building a Bike Trail - Video
I enjoy riding the new trail, it's not the most technical trail but good fun. Also I can ride it and Blue Steel with my girlfriend who's just getting into mountain biking. It's not like Sheffield and the surrounding area is missing gnarly trails with Grenoside, Wharncliffe and The Peak District on its door step.

Dec 26, 2015Kona Coiler, lots of upgrades
$500 GBPSelling my Kona Coiler. Lots of upgraded parts.
Fox 36 Talas forks and Fox shock
Avid Elixir CR brakes with 203mm rotors
RaceFace Deus cranks and e-Thirteen guide ring
Crank Brother 50/50 pedals
XT rear mech and SLX shifter
Specialized hubs with DT Swiss rims
Maxis High Roller tyres
RaceFace stem, Truvative handlebars and Lizard Skins grips.
Condition is pretty good, obviously it's got a fair few scratches and some cable rub like all second hand mountain bikes. Only problems are the headset is a bit tight but could just need a clean and regrease and there's some play in the brake levers.
Could meet anywhere between Hull and Sheffield and would consider posting at buyers expense.
