I'm stoked to go watch this in person but am still skeptical it won't be cancelled for weather. Have the organizers not considered it could be snowing mid October? It will almost certainly be pissing rain every day and at or below 10 degrees C. Why not do this at sea level instead of 1000m?

Please Don't Dumb Down the Trails
Some difficult trails have a gatekeeper feature at the very top to filter out riders for this reason. It lets everyone (riders and trail maintainers) know what to expect.

@Rhymer: Agree with sustainability of Pinkbike/Outside. The environmental impact of the techno sphere isn't always top of mind but our clicks use energy and the servers are often powered with fossil fuels.

Pinkbike Poll: Would You Buy an Enduro Bike With a Dual-Crown Fork?
I answered no because I'm not sure how tight you can turn with dual crown fork. It's been almost a decade since I've used one, and never for climbing. For example, is a climb like Nimby in Pemberton (tight switchbacks) possible with dual crown?
