Don't get me wrong, I'm as big a fan of shredding trail as the next guy, but every once in a while it's nice to take it down a couple of notches, chill out, enjoy the scenery and the amazing places our bikes can take us.
I first met Yukon-based tour company
Boreale Mountain Biking back in 2008, and instantly fell in love with the amazing landscape, people and most of all the incredible trails they have in abundance up there. I've been back every year since, whether it's to take advantage of the almost endless golden light for shooting,
scoping new zones with Dylan Sherrard or running my annual photo clinic, I always find a way to make sure I get some solid Whitehorse time in.
This short video is the first in a series I'm producing to try to put across why I'm so enamoured with the Yukon. Sure, it's short on actual riding (more on that later), but it's big on the vibe you'll get in just a short time if you head up North in the summer.
