Video: The Finer Points of Luca Shaw's Bike Setup in 'Between Two Puzzlers'
I liked that. Captured a bit of the awkwardness of Between Two Ferns (were they going for that right?). I love Luca's vibe on setup. I can't count clicks either. What's dampening again? I think I run the same setup. Yes, I think this is better. Next ride, humm something feels off. No wait, it's just me.

Pinkbike Poll: How Often Do You Wash Your Bike?
As needed too. I start my rides like life, go in clean and come out dirty. Sometimes ya gotta through on the daisy dukes and tank top and give the neighbors a show.

Pinkbike Poll: How Long is Your Average Mountain Bike Ride?
Once a week- job, wife and daughter. Watch vids in between. Trade vid time with daughter. One My Little Pony for a mtn bike vid (well more like 5 for her and 1 for dad). Not too shabby considering. Always could be more riding. And as long as I’m asking I’ll take my 24 year old body too.

Video: Chatting With Seth's Bike Hacks
Seth is great! He was my first dive into YouTubers and it has been so fun, educational and inspiring. He’s also been my gateway to other great mtn channels. I think he and the gang have really contributed to my love of mtn biking and the biker community. The man has mad skills, nice guy and works his ass off. Glad PB had him in on but could have chosen a better thumbnail for him.

Video: Finding Hidden Trail Treasure in the Lost Sierra
Church indeed ma man! I love hunting for trails, known, unknown and what could be. I do it old school to by pouring over maps, word of mouth and exploring. Someday I plan on getting a GPS; I imagine I would save some time an energy. It's sort of a fine line between nothing ventured, nothing gained and curiosity killed the cat.

Ryan Leech On How the Risk Paradox Affects Mountain Bikers
I think I risk more spending weekend on the couch. More and more it is affirmed to me that getting out and riding is something I HAVE to do for my own mental and physical health. Being 46 I do realize that I'm not going to send it like I was 25. I follow two basic principles, ride to ride again and try to ride within my own limits. Part of the fun is recognizing the risk and treating it with respect. I take my chances on the trail anyday over driving on the 5 Freeway!
