Trek 2013 Lime Green Slash 7 With Premium Upgrades: Are you thinking about getting into mountain biking but hesitant to drop a lot of cash on a new one? I'm selling a solid all mountain/enduro bike with no performance issues that's got lots of mileage in the tank. It's got 26" wheels. Hey don't stress if you're a beginner/intermediate, wheel size is not going to be a factor, most important is dialing in your settings so the bike works for you. What you have here is an all mountain rig that's been upgraded with a premium Race Face components. The additions gives you bonus performance gains: aluminum cranks upgraded to Race Face carbon SixC cranks, it didn't come with a dropper so I added a Race Face Turbine dropper post and wide Atlas pedals for a more stable rider platform. This bike gives you the freedom and confidence to ride any trail you want to tackle. It's a strong climber and smooths out rugged terrain with it's 160mm of travel. When you're new, the added travel will smooth things out when things get choppy. You can lock out the Rockshock rear shocks so when you're climbing, you're not bobbing and wasting your energy. It'll help while you're building up your cardio or trying to keep up with your friends-hey I'm sure your friends are cool and they'll wait but still, you might feel the pressure to keep up so every bit helps getting up the mountain. When you're at the top lower the dropper post and switch the shock for a cushy ride down. So what's the condition of the bike? This bike is in good condition but I'll be straight up-there are knicks and dings on the bike but it's safe, running smoothly and has no issues. The shocks are working well, dropper post is issue free, no unusual creaks, nothing stripped and wheel has no impact damage. I'll follow up with some pics in the next day or two.
