First Look: Yeti's New SB140 - Splitting the Difference
@BarneyStinson: I had to replace mine once in 5 years and I rode all year round. If you pumped the grease into the grease ports often enough and cleaned the face of the port before hand, there were no issues.

First Look: Yeti's New SB140 - Splitting the Difference
@Compositepro: I loved my SB6c. I had it for five years before some scrote stole it. I've seen a couple out on the trails, but you're right, they're quite a rare sight.

New Motors, Derailleurs, & Yetis: EWS Crans-Montana 2022
About time. The current yetis are/were too long at the front and too short at the rear. Hopefully these issues have been addressed. 'Modern' geo went too far. /grump.

STOLEN Yeti Sb6c Brentwood Essex area

$3000 GBP
This bike was stolen the morning of the 4th September. Also taken was a Cotic BFe size small. Annoyingly, despite having CCTV of the theft in progress and being certain I'd seen the two young scrotes earlier in the day, knowing where they'd been and who they'd been with... case closed. The yeti is a custom build with Renthal, Hope, Fox, Shimano XT/XTR parts and has odd wheels, The front being an Easton rim with a silver hub and the rear being an EX471 rim with a black hub. Please contact me via pinkbike if you see or hear of this bike. Thanks!

British Rider Needed 17 Stitches After Hitting Barbed Wire Trail Trap
The fact that they seemingly went to the trouble to hide their trap clearly shows that they deliberately intended to do harm. I hope that they are caught and prosecuted. This happened to me many years ago. Barbed wire at neck height on a very fast section of trail. I only saw it as it was Autumn/Winter, the sun was still low and picked out the dew that had settled on the wire. I stopped inches away. More recently, and becoming quite common, we're finding logs or sticks arranged at angles over the crests of blind features or around corners. There are some miserable f*ckers out there; and don't get me started on all the new dog owners who clearly have no idea how to train their fur babies. I've been bitten twice this year, both times I'd stopped!
