Video: How to Simply Set Up Your Fork
Don’t @ me but… Fork has a higher air volume than shock, that means it can lose a bit and you’re less likely to notice. Also it runs at a lower psi, so less likely to bleed air.

Video: How to Simply Set Up Your Fork
@danctm: ^^^this guy gets it. 1 screw the nozzle halfway down to seal it. 2 pump your pump chamber and hose only to whatever psi you THINK the fork is at (air valve closed). 3 screw the nozzle all the way down to open, equalize system pressure, then check the reading. If the needle drops, that means the fork psi was lower than you thought.

Pinkbike Poll: Are Tire Inserts Leaving You Deflated?
@ride-801: “simply run tubeless with heavier casing” true, but preventing flats is just one benefit of inserts. The most important one IMO, in janky or sloppy conditions (too often where I’m from): with inserts I can lower any tire an extra 5psi. Increase grip without any sidewall squirm. ALSO, running a DH casing does nothing to protect your $200 rim from getting absolutely mashed in a rock strike, that’ll take forever to rebuild by hand.

Cushcore XC 27.5

$40 USD
Selling because I want the wider pro version for my new 35mm inner width rims. Personally I love inserts… protects the rim from rock strikes and adds sidewall support during fast turns, meaning you can run lower tire pressure than normal for added grip. Definitely used, but it’s a foam insert… still works just fine, 50% used discount. I put a new rubber seal on the valve stem. Would work great probably on a 20mm - 30mm wide rim. Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5x2.6

$40 USD
Barely used… the 2.6” was too wide for my frame and rubbed when fully compressed, I took it off as soon as I noticed. Would fit well on a 30mm+ wide rim. Amazon link exact product MAXXIS Minion DHR II Wide Trail 3C/EXO+/TR 27.5in Tire MaxxTerra, 3C/EXO+/TR, 27.5x2.6 https://a.co/d/29ZmIBN $40 includes USPS shipping in the country.

Opinion: What Are You Too Picky About?
Yup. The occasional bike park hose down every once in a while, and then wd40 silicone spray if I remember.

Perfectly valid. Such a pain to redo and get it right. I traced marker lines on my bars so I can always reset the same.

@Danzzz88: that’s valid. The people reading sponsored articles written about bike maintenance and upgrades… inherently are the type of people who prefer bike upgrades vs YouTube videos of technique, or simply getting out there.
