The Dave Watson power-wheelie-drift-scrub-turn at 2:15 in Ride To The Hills is still the best moment of mountain bike cinematography.

Video: Could It Be Any Steeper?
I've not ridden Strapping Young Lad but I have done a few laps on another Pemby trail close by called Gravatron. I've also ridden Llangollen (whilst it was damp...). There are moves on Llangollen that are tougher than anything I encountered on Pemby's steep-fall line trails. That said, the tough stuff in Llangollen is all over in 2-3mins. The technical, steep riding in Pemby just keeps on going and going and going... It really tests your endurance, both physical and mental. I love Llangollen but Pemby wins for me, longer, more sustained, more exposure and ultimately more fun.
