Santa Cruz Bronson CC

$3000 USD
2020 Santa Cruz Bronson CC frame, size medium, in excellent condition, with Fox 36 Grip 2 fork 160mm. Frame currently has Fox DPX2 tuned by Avalanche for a 160 lb all mountain rider. DPX2 has RWS needle bearings at both ends. Also included is the original Rock Shox Super Deluxe w/ an added Meg Neg and factory tune. Fox 36 is standard offset, at 160mm, and includes a 170mm air spring for you to have if you'd like. The frame is in really great condition with only minor wear marks that are difficult to even pick up with the camera. Frame was covered in race tape since new. One thing to note is some cable rub on the head badge. I think this is from the bike being on the tailgate pad for a drive that led to the cables being blown up against the badge. Fork has a couple marks on it, depicted in pics. Stanchions are in perfect condition. To summarize, included in sale are Bronson frame, Fox 36 fork, DPX2 on frame, original RS Super Deluxe w/ meg neg, head set, front and rear axles, 170mm air spring for fork. NOT included: dropper post or stem. Though if interested, I could also sell the dropper and stem. Also have available for additional purchase, a hand built Ibis 741 27.5 wheelset w/ Industry Nine classic hubs. I'm happy to answer any questions or provide additional pics. Terms of sale: payment through Paypal, I'll eat the paypal fees. Buyer is to pay shipping costs. Easiest way to do this is for me to package the items and let you know the dimensions and weight. You then pick the shipper or your choice, pay for a shipping label, and send me the .pdf of the label. I'll stick it on the box and get it headed your way.

Opinion: How True is the 'Dudes Who Shred' vs 'YouTubers' Meme?
I think the most frustrating thing about youtube mtb content is just how many channels there are of people who don't really know what they're talking about. The reality is they don't have the skill and experience to tell someone how to properly ride a bike. But for some reason they think they need to be on the internet doing how to videos and bike reviews. Some people need attention and need to the the one looked up to, I guess. But seriously, how many videos do we need of another mediocre mountain biker POV his ride down a trail talking about a bike and how it compares to his 2014 stumpjumper. And he brought along his even less skilled girlfriend. Other really skilled riders just want to ride their bikes, with their friends, and have a good time without feeling the need to f*ckin document everything on the internet. That should be okay.
