Riding in Wales with Dan Johnson
OK - so the first ride that will be reviewed will be the red/blue - Red and then the black routes at Kirroughtree (7 Stanes Scotland). I road trip that took me and a good friend north of the border for a day. The trail is largely on manufactured / man made trails which is normally OK, but one section started to look much like the next. Sections labelled back were not fast enough and some resembled trials courses rather than trail centre. The most annoying thing about this place was that there was very little steep downhill, so after hours of plodding up, round and about the trail ends without a real rush! Sorry 7 Stanes this only scores 4 / 10. Not worth a visit unless you live less than an hour away!
