Actually large diameter shaft is the way. Look at EXT new DHX n the tigon from cane creek. If you want coil on your yoke bike...you need big shaft man.

Its just leverage. With yoke bikes you hard mount the shock to the yoke increasing the eye to eye of the shock by alot. More than engineers design for. Causing the shock to "bend" more usually causing an aerated shock. Air mixing with oil cause the air sneaks past the seals while the shaft is being "bent"....essentially
