Jun 10, 2020Trek Scratch Air
$900 GBPI’m reluctantly parting with my Trek as I have recently moved house and don’t have room and I really am not riding enough. The bike is good at going up hill but is in it element going downhill with the aggressive geometry. I have upgraded pretty much everything on the way. I’ve added a full spec breakdown below. I am 5’9 and the bike fits me. It has been well used and there are chips, scratches and cable rub like you would expect from an older bike, but nothing severe. The frame has been heli-taped from new. I had it serviced fully last year exc the suspension, every bearing removed greased and checked. The Kashima forks look great and perform really well, there is a slight mark on the stanchions that I have pictured but it does not effect performance. I’d maybe recommend a rear shock service to get the maximum performance out of it but will work perfectly well if you decide not to.
I upgraded the brakes a year and a half ago and haven’t really used it a lot since so they are working great. Really nice bite you get from new shimano brakes. The bike is ready to go! Grab yourself a bargain.
If anything I’d probably look to put a dropper in but you can pick these us for not a huge cost.
Thanks for Looking and any questions at all drop me a message.
I'll post at the buyers expense of £50.
