Pinkbike Editors' Favorite Flat Pedals for 2026: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly
I like them, but can't figure out how to keep them quiet; the little wave spring on the axle that keeps the pedal body from rattling doesn't seem to last very long. Once that dies they start making noise.
I even tried buying aftermarket springs but they didn't last much longer.
If anyone has tips please post them, would love to get back on them if they stayed quiet

After trying a bunch I settled on the 3M 8511/8511P N95 respirators when it gets bad. The exhaust port on them helps w/ keeping them *slightly* less hot/humid inside but also means you should not use them to isolate if you have COVID/flu since you'll be dumping virus particles out through the port...
