I still feel disappointed for Fontana with regards to the London Olympics. Race of his career for sure, but we never got to see the full potential because of the broken seat post.

I don't think Miguel Martinez has ever been caught. I might be mistaken though. He left the Phonak team (Landis, lol) in 2003 complaining about the amount of doping there was in road racing. http://followingthechainline.blogspot.com/2013/06/where-are-they-now-miguel-martinez.html

Elite XCO Results from the Les Gets XC World Cup 2024

@vinay: Fall? The XC races are the first week of August. Lucky if it will be less than 30C. The Olympics are the Olympics. Maybe 10-100x the exposure for a sponsor if you win than a single World Cup. The teams and sponsors of these riders are supporting them at the Olympics, and have agreed for them to skip some races to prepare. No matter when the Olympics is in the year it would conflict with other competitions. Most sports know in which 3-week window the Olympics is happening about eight years in advance.

@vinay: Most bikes put a door in an existing part of their frames to create the frame storage. Orange added an extra frame element to allow the storage, thus adding extra weight.
