Video: Jesse Melamed Tests if Taking the Racing Line Makes you Faster
@JesseMelamed: this is the reason you can tell people, ‘Oh, you think the trees are your ally, but you merely adopted them. I was born in them molded by them. I didn't see the open until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding! The trees betray you, because they belong to me.’ ...or not

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 7 - Wild Project Bikes, Foxzocci Forks, and Suicide Shifters
Post Covid19, do you think we'll go back to world racing schedules as we know it? And could we see a revival of local series as a result instead?

Video Round Up: Winning Runs from the 2019 World Cup Season
@tobiusmaximum: I think this would apply in a head-to-head, but as the racers go one-by-one they simply cannot know what zero point something is. There has been many times where he's gone and put an absolute booter of a time down with 1-2 riders to go and you can tell he knows he's left nothing on the track only for Bruni or Pierron to edge it in a cruel twist of fate (for him). I believe all he has to do is keep doing what he is doing and he'll win many WCs. Perhaps not Minnaar or Gwin levels, but enough to go down as one of the greats.

Video Round Up: Winning Runs from the 2019 World Cup Season
@tobiusmaximum: realistically on the world circuit there are only a handful of riders (5-6)who can win a WC round, and Troy is definitely amongst that pack. On the day, there is always one of the other five who’ll be that fraction faster. Brosnan and Danny Hart have been the best riders over the last 5 years for sure even though they’ve only got 5 wins between them.

Video: Marshy Attempts to Teach Greg Minnaar How to Bleed Brakes
Yep, Code's are even easier. One hand to hold a syringe at the lever, another hand to hold it at the caliper, another hand to pull a vacuum, now use your toes to hold the pressure back at the caliper, and then use your nose to screw the lever adjust to purge any bubbles.

Because when you’ve grown up riding bmx and have nothing to prove, you don’t have to settle for riding something bigger because it’s easier, and instead evolve your sport/your ride.

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 4 - Why is Every Bike a Trail Bike? (and Kazimer's Anime Body Pillow)
Because the industry needs to keep selling stuff. The trail bike is obviously this year's must-have and a few subliminal hints is all that's needed to plant that seed in our brains we've got to have one.

Video: Jordi & Chris Kilmurray Talk Suspension vs. Posture in the Latest Episode of Dialed
@philmtb99: surely it depends on what you are riding and how you will ride it, no? The demands of a dh wc race where they’ll practice for one perfect race is different to an ews series of races where they’ll have only limited practice age are very different. Greg Callaghan highlighted this in his recent bike check and said he’s going softer these days for a more overall efficient setup. For the rest of us it’s probably finding our own personal range.
