Selling a bike for my Friend. 2012 Trek Madone 3.1 in OCLV Carbon. He is the second owner, bought in 2020. Before that, the bike was lightly ridden. He rode maybe 500km on it, and has been hanging in his basement. I have cleaned and regreased the bike, from the cassette to the bottom bracket/cranks and headset. Here is the honest summary of the bike: - There are the usual scratches from use but no cracks. Some paint rub where he had a water bottle mounted (see picture). - The tires do not match, the rear being the newer of the two, lot of tread. They are both 28x700cc. - Brake pads, as well as the rims braking surface, are tip-top with very little wear. - The chain has no stretch, as per my Parktool gauge. - The grips are white, so they are a bit gray now. But still tight and no tears. Ending tape is meh, but it holds. - There are pictures of the cassette and chainrings. Very little wear. Besides, the bike is ready to go.
