Transition Releases New Youth MTB Lineup
We were in that situation a few years ago when our oldest was jumping from her 24" bike and we went with an XS Scout instead. Looking at the the standover - which I feel is super important on kids bikes - and the available components, it didn't make sense for us to plunk down for a 26" bike as a 'tweener. That said, our kids are a bit taller with longer legs than some our friends' kids and they found 26" bikes or a mulleted 27.5" for their solution.

Transition Releases New Youth MTB Lineup
Hey, I know those kids! ;) I'm stoked that TBC has jumped headfirst into the grom world with the Bandit and modernized the Ripcord and Scout for our younger rippers. We had our kids on different bikes and then had our XS Scout's suspension tuned for our kiddos as they were WAY too light for the valving on the previous stock / "adult" version. The updated Scout will fit a wider range of kids AND smaller adults too!
