Reece Wallace's Custom Excavator Themed Giant Glory
Reminds me of the Avalanche D51 snowboard (which I wanted really badly). Super cool.

Esker Releases Smokey Steel Hardtail Designed for a 160mm Fork
The Rootdown (160mm hardtail) is Chromag's best selling bike. For the trails I ride I don't want less than 150mm on the fork whether there is squish in the back or not.

PNW Components Releases $199 Range Dropper Post & Lever Package
@pnwcomponents: While you are looking definitely consider some island places (that have the benefit of lower cost of living, lower commercial rent prices). Duncan/Cowichan is "cheap" and has Tzouhalem, Maple Mountain (both were in BCBR) and Prevost. Nananaimo (aka Gnarnaimo) has Doumont, Benson and some other smaller trail systems. Courtenay/Comox/Cumberland is well known, but Cumberland proper is expensive for housing now, but overall cost of living in the area is reasonable (compared to greater vancouver and Squamish/Whistler).

PNW Components Releases $199 Range Dropper Post & Lever Package
@ACree: I just wish PNW had Canadian distribution. It's cheaper for me to order PNW stuff from Jenson than from them directly due to shipping. I'm surprised they don't do enough business in BC to justify a small warehouse and fullfillment location in Richmond or Squamish or something. Or better yet Cumberland so they can be next door to Nobl and Forbidden.

Ask Pinkbike: Creaky Components, Downhill Cassettes, Transmission Chainslap
There is a leaf spring fork (lauf) which is undampened. Actually it has 0 adjustments (no rebound or compression) so it's basically and expensive carbon pogo stick. You'll note that cars/trucks with leaf spring generally include a damper. By the time you add a damper to a bike leaf design you might as well have a coil or air spring.

OneUp Announces New Hubs
Nobl already has them but they are more expensive than dt350. IF WaO ends up carrying them it'll be interesting to see how they price out compared to DT. I'm assuming that while DT retail is higher than OneUp companies can get them wholesale cheaper.

Social Round Up: After the Rain at the Crans Montana XC World Cup
Riders sticking with the static seatpost on this track is mind blowing to me. At least put a light 125mm on there. Maybe they enjoy a saddle in the stomach while taking a drop?

@tashlama: Fun fact. Instead of putting treads on an Aspen they actually just put them near a Minion for a bit to get that "essence" of tread.
