Tom Pidcock May Skip Mountain Bike Racing in 2025

he won amstel, for xc he won xc gold, won two world cups, and was 3rd at worlds (all supported by ineos) i'll take that 'under performance'... tadej and MDVP pretty much won everything else on the road...But he also did the tour and was primed to crown his year off with more solid road riding until his team torpedo'ed him... Sure he doesnt have the engine for a grand tour ( now or maybe ever) but could be a skinny classics king who dominates XC, CX and would probably dominate enduro if he tried, the guy is super skilled....

Racing Rumours: Everything We Know About the Potential Changes to XC World Cups in 2025

0-100mm bikes? Why? The best racing is when there are multiple lines, some have a skill advantage, others have an endurance advantage, or people like pidcock have both. XCO has become so much better to watch as the courses are more like what weekend MTB riders want to ride. It is rad, but looking to minimise tracks is the wrong solution. make it rad, and the endurance follows.
