@Hamburgi: I think you are the first person I have ever heard who dislikes Hope the way you do, every issue I’ve ever seen or heard of, (bar pad squeal… and even then there’s heaps of options to fix that) is due to mechanical incompetence. Only issue I’ve seen is a minor “click” in the lever which I barely notice when riding, and whilst still an issue, it’s. Certainley not worth the hate you’re giving them.

@chrismac70: I think that might just be something you’ve seen, at least on *older* codes, guides, or levels. I’ve seen that issue not once on any mavens and anyone who semi looks after the code rsc’s I have never seen an issue with

And here I am with my 5yr old 2021 norco optic, going as strong as day 1, minus 1x warrantied chainstay & 2x seatstays, but seriously, I enjoyabley take this bike down tracks which some very capable riders I know, hesitate on dh bikes - 2021 bikes were so peak

They’re is something really refreshing about seeing regular xx1 axs & a gold chain with rainbow cassette on a bike for a 2026 product launch - don’t get me wrong, I love my XX transmission but tbh I still prefer the look & function of regular axs (and even more, mechanical X01/ XX1)
