I’ve barely used it, there’s a bit of shoe rub on the seatstay and some scratches on the downtube from a bike stand. But it’s really clean overall and running perfectly

Jan 26, 2022Commencal Supreme 29/27
$3000 GBPSelling my much loved downhill bike as I’m just not using it enough to justify it. Bought in late 2020, it’s probably been taken out of the garage for about 15 days of riding since new. There are the usual scratches a downhill bike does get, mostly from uplifts.
Frame: Commencal Supreme - it’s a size small but I’m 5ft8 and it fits great. The standard headset is fitted, but I’ll include a +\- 10mm headset, which allows the reach to be adjusted from 415mm to 435mm in 10mm increments. I’ll also include a +\- 1 degree headset and a 190mm Boxxer air shaft to lower the bar height for shorter riders. So it can be adjusted to be a great fit for anyone from 5ft3 to 5ft10
Fork: Rockshox Boxxer Ultimate - the shorter 46mm offset version, it makes a huge difference over the standard 56 as the steering is more stable and it’s easier to get weight on the front wheel to generate traction
Shock: Rockshox Super Deluxe. The Megneg air can I’ve fitted brings the bike to life. I’ll include the standard can too though.
Wheels: Hope Pro 4 (DH rear with the wider flange for a stiffer/ stronger wheel) and DT Swiss FR560 rims. DT Champion spokes and Brass loctite nipples.
Brakes: Shimano SLX 4 pot and Shimano 203mm rotors - not the codes pictured
Drivetrain: SRAM GX DH 7spd + Sram Descendant crank. 34t chainring, I’ll include a new spare chainring as there’s some chipped teeth on the current one
Stem: HOPE DM 50mm
Bars: Raceface Atlas 31.8mm 13mm rise
Seatpost: Pro Vice
Saddle: WTB High Tail - increased clearance from the back wheel, can run the saddle lower, essential for downhillers 5ft8 or shorter!
Tyres: Maxxis Minion DHR rear and Assegai front. Not Schwalbes pictured
Pedals: Not included. But I can include some Crankbrothers Mallets for another £50
As you can see, I’ve taken a lot of care with every part picked for this build. And it’s been maintained with the same care. It cost around 5.5k to build, and that was just before the world went mad with stock shortages and the resulting price hikes.
I’m gutted to sell it but needs must.
Cheers

Video: A Rowdy Run Down the Fort William World Cup Course on a 120mm Hardtail
Thank you!
Time wise I do full runs of that track for fun on a downhill bike. On a hardtail though it gets way too sketchy before I even get to the deer gate!

$100 GBPGreat condition dropper. I’ve had it spare for a few years as I got a 30.9 seat post frame. It was serviced after a year of use and not used again, these posts are invincible though, it didn’t even need that service
Fox lever included

$100 GBPServiced only a few rides before sale, so internally this should be good for a long time. There’s a new blue seal fitted but I can also show the invoice for service on request
The hose was replaced during this service but it got the usual nicks in it that internal cables/ hoses seem to get. The old hose was worse but still functioned faultlessly
It will of course need a bleed as it’s been separated to remove from my frame
