The problem is that, in the premier discipline of mountain biking – the DH – the number of riders competing is very small indeed. Why not like the downhill Ski discipline? Some mandatory track training and then all at the race. Of course with a certain minimum point level

Deviate Cycles Bought Out of Insolvency by Co-Founder Ben Jones
I have both Deviate Claymore and Banshee Rune, two nice bikes that are made by small brand, but Banshee is really a small brand that doesn't want to expand (they don't offer neither e-bikes or complete builds)
Brands that want to expand like Deviate, are highly exposed to market forces.

They are more honest: they ask for a price and that's it, no commercial play versus price, discount or whatsover.
I have the Intend Edge, it's very good, but you can live with other fork brands. Rock shox Lyrik would be my second choice

Just for information: all this trails are forbidden for the bikes... More or less all the path in the dolomites are forbidden for the bikers, and it's really a mess, because a lot of trails even if are very less dangerous compared to this are very nice
