The amount of butthurt in these comments is astounding, RockShox is only saying that the regular, everyday rider will not be able to reap the full benefits of the new system in the shock and some of you guys are acting like you're incredibly offended at the idea that you are not a podium level rider on the world circuit when the majority of us all ride purely for pleasure and so logically don't expect to be seen anywhere near that standard. They're not saying the rider wont be able to feel any sort of difference in performance, they just say that the rider likely will not be able to utilise its full potential much in the same way most people wont be able to tune a CCDB to perfection and also use it to its limit, and it is likely true that 97% of the worlds riders wont be able to actually use the added benefits of the shocks performance even if they can still feel it while riding a bike with this new shock. IMO the idea of having only UCI registered pro riders initially being able to buy this shock is good in the way that it promotes people to either prove RockShox wrong and get to be a pro on another platform or aspire to purchase the shock and either way its increasing the size of the pro level field and so promoting growth in the sport and tougher competition which can only be a good thing as far as I can see
