@rideordie35: You make a great point, and that was a big hurtle when we approached the design. We've experimented with several kinds of angular contact bearings, and deep groove ball bearings and countless spacer thicknesses to solve this problem. After a year and a half of testing, we have good reason to beleive the axles, bearings and bodies will hold up to serious DH riding. Feel free to reach out to the outliermtb instagram, would love to chat more about our design process and how we settled on this bearing configuration...
PS. If I were you I would have my doubts but the truth is that the system holds up.

haha interesting. There are a handful of prototypes of the pendulum under test riders in western Canada, you must have gotten your foot stuck in another hole haha.
