Aug 11, 2022Evil Wreckoning LB coil f&r 2º angleset spr shock
$2000 GBPHi there,
Got my Size large Evil Wreckoning MB 29er up for sale. I brought the frame in April 2020 from Bike Tart and it's honestly been one of the best bikes I've ever owned, super reliable and rides amazingly. There a couple of marks from general use and being shoved in vans etc but it's mechanically spot on. She runs on coils both ends which are set for a rider around 75-85kg mark. I've been running it with a works components 2º angle set to give a 64º head angle. I've also been running micro shifts advent x 10spd drive train, works fantastically and lighter than the current XT drivetrain while costing less for a mech, shifter and cassette than the xt cassette on its own, worth bearing in mind for when you need to replace it down the line.
Spec is as follows.
Frame: Evil Wreckoning MB size large 29" - couple of cosmetic marks but structurally perfect, bearing were swapped in April, 2º angle set to give a 64º head angle
Headset: Works components 2º angle set
Fork: Marzocchi Bomber Z1 Coil 170mm, firm spring - Serviced by fox uk at the start of April
Rear shock: Cane Creek DB coil with climb switch with 400lb SAR lightweight spring, should suit a rider around 75-85kg - Service by Sprung at the end of last year.
Brakes: Sram Guide RE (Code) callipers mixed with Guide Ultimate levers
Rotors: Shimano 203mm front and back
Front wheel: Superstar V6 hub built onto a DT481 rim 29" 30mm internal width, plenty of scuffs but no dings, these rims are unbelievably tough.
Rear wheel: Just riding along (bitex) hub built onto a DT481 rim 29" 30mm internal width, plenty of scuffs but no dings, these rims are unbelievably tough.
Tyres: Kenda Hellkat 29"x2.4" AEC, I know people think Kenda are rubbish but these are mint check out the reviews
Cranks: Raceface Aeffect 170mm
BB: Raceface threaded -replaced in March
Chainring: Works Components 32t
Mech: Microsoft advent x 10spd- Replaced 3 rides ago
Cassette: Microsoft advent x 10spd 11-48t -replaced in late march
Chain: Sram 10spd - replaced in late march
Shifter: Microsoft advent x 10spd
Saddle: Fabric Scoop
Seatpost: One up components 150mm dropper
Stem: Nukeproof Horizon 50mm 31.8mm clam - brand new (could also swap this for a Span spoon 40mm stem if you prefer)
Bars: Nukeproof Horizon 800x25x31.8 - Brand new
Grips: Vitus lock on - Brand new
Extras: Rock Shox Monarch air shock, there's a tiny scrape on the shaft but I've filled it with enamel and it maintains it's pressure. 4x new brake pads. 30t steel chainring. Front mudguard
I'll be sad to see this one go as its been a fantastic bike but needs must. I'd prefer not to ship but if absolutely necessary I can (obviously in this event the bike is sold as seen) but I'd much, much prefer that the bike be viewed before purchasing, the bike can be seen near Risca or Raglan (where I work) in South Wales.
Any questions give me a shout.
Thanks
Greg

Jul 28, 2022Sram Guide RE levers with Guide Ultimate Callipers
$55 GBPHi,
Selling a set of Guide RE levers paired up with a set of Guide Ultimate callipers (the RE callipers got matched to the Ultimate levers on another bike). They'll need a bleed and probably new pads as they've been sat about in the garage for a while and I don't remember bleeding them after I assembled them. I'd recommend fresh pads, a bleed and lubing the pistons. I can't be bothered to do this myself hence the price, that being said they should make a good set of brakes if you're on a budget and happy to give them a bit of TLC.
£55 posted
Cheers,
Greg

Jul 28, 2022Set of Sram Guide RE's
$55 GBPHi there,
Selling a set of Guide RE brakes, may need a bleed and new pads as they've been sat about in the garage for a year or 2. Prior to that they were working nicely and there's no reason why they shouldn't again. I'd recommend fresh pads, a bleed, lubing the pistons. I can't be bothered to do this myself hence the price, that being said they should make a good set of brakes if you're on a budget and happy to give them a bit of TLC.

Jul 28, 2022Burgtec Penthouse MK4
$55 GBPHi There,
Selling my Burgtec Penthouse MK4s, they're in good nick with a few of the usual battle scars but have probably only been ridden about 15 times so the bearing are nice and play free. They're currently sitting gathering dust as I've switched back to clips and don't see myself going back now.
Asking for £55 posted to your door.
Thanks

Frame: Giant Glory Advance 2016 size large 27.5
Fork: Fox 40 Factory 27.5, these have had a very small amount of material removed from the arch to accommodate a 29" front wheel, clearance is tight but I've been running it like this for over a year with zero issues
Rear shock: Cane Creek DB coil with 450lb cane creek vault lightweight spring, should suit a rider around 75-85kg
Brakes: Shimano Saints 220mm front rotor, 203mm rear

Condition wise everything on the bikes works great, all the bearing are free of play and feel in good nick, both wheels are pretty true and free of dings, both the forks and shock work spot on, the forks were lower lubed 4 rides previously. It has the usual battle scars from several years of use as you can see in the photos but it's all free of dents and cranks.
If absolutely necessary I can ship it (obviously in this incidence the bike is sold as seen) but I'd much, much prefer that the bike be viewed before purchasing, the bike can be viewed near Risca or Raglan (where I work) in South Wales.
