First Ride: Fox Releases New Grip X & Grip X2 Dampers
This. Instead of reworking the bushings for better oil flow and less harshness just put the proper amount of grease and oil in them at the factory. It's like a whole different fork when you adjust the amount from "what fox puts in it" to "what fox says is supposed to be in it." My 2010 Fox RLC had too much grease from the factory so I'm guessing that issue will never be fixed.

First Ride: Fox Releases New Grip X & Grip X2 Dampers
Same thoughts I had. Why not go R2C2 as a throwback to the RC2 which everybody loved or call it X4 for 4 way adjustable?

Why Did Bernard Kerr's Prototype Frame Break at Crankworx Rotorua?
I get what people are saying on both sides. As far as the "prototypes break" that's very true. But in 2024 the fatigue/failure points of carbon and aluminum are pretty well known. In years past it was "hey the frame failed but we learned something and are adjusting our layup." Those failures make the finished product stronger or even carry over into early generations of the finished product (v1 Yeti Sb6). This failure isn't like that. It's a defect that will not help or hurt the finished product. It's embarrassing for Pivot and could have been catastrophic for Kerr. At the same time people saying well Yeti's prototype didn't break. Yeti's prototype is way more finished than this one. Living in Arizona and seeing prototypes around this is a very early version. I think both sides of the argument are looking way too much into this. It's a big deal for Pivot and Kerr and hopefully he is okay. But it doesn't really have an affect on the product we will be offered as the consumer.

Push Industries Releases Nine. One Inverted Fork
The days of Push doing custom damper tunes are behind us. Push tunes are great but even the 11.6 is tuned to the bike frame, not the rider (they set the dials for the rider). Most modern dampers have a pretty large sweet spot though.

Zerode Bikes Announces New World Cup Team with Sam Blenkinsop & Taylor Vernon
The industry is in a scary place right now. A lot of brands have gotten a little stale and afraid to take risks. Be more like Zerode. Fresh ideas will still sell.

AI Shares its 2024 Predictions on Wireless Shimano Drivetrains, Gearbox World Cup Wins, & More
AI's try to emulate logic. Shimano does not. Asking the poor AI to figure out the thought process of shimano "could and should" come out with a wireless drivetrain but doesn't is probably going to be how the AI war starts that spells humanities doom. On the plus side, once we are all extinct we won't have to wait for a wireless shimano drivetrain anymore.

Review: Shimano XT Linkglide - Here For a Good Time AND a Long Time
@Vaclav: from what I've heard the only compatible traditional Shimano 11 speed component is the chain. The spacing is different on the cassette which requires a different pull. Someone on reddit compared the derailleurs between "old 11" (for lack of a better term) and link glide and said the pull ratio seems the same for the derailleur end which would make the difference in the shifter, but I don't know if anybody has confirmed it. Either way it's kind of a bummer because idk if there would be any way to keep double shift.

Review: Shimano XT Linkglide - Here For a Good Time AND a Long Time
This should be all over the cycling press right now. I'm a long time shimano fan boy. But it doesn't matter how good the product is, at the end of the day it's just a bike and if that's how it's coming to be it's not worth it. Pinkbikes silence so far on this says a lot.
