@A1990ToyotaHilux: Your Monstercross is awesome! I'm not sure yet what the right frame for my Trust Message is. Had it on a steel hardtail, but I'm curious to try a short travel frame next.

@spaced: Definitely possible, but I don't remember hearing about it so I can't really say. I think I read about it being way too expensive / too labour-intensive to make.

Ahhh, that unlocks some memories! LeToy III or Pornking(?) with Sherman Slider... so awesome. I still have a nostalgia hardtail build, but not nearly that cool. Banshee Scirocco with Sherman Sliders. Red Michelin tires are give it some pop. Took it for a shore lap a few years back - holy cow was it loud! Still did pretty well on 7th and the rest, but the tire rubber has hardened over the years which kept me on my toes.

I'm still sad that the Superco Silencer failed to launch. Saw one in passing up on Whistler back in the day - still kicking myself that I didn't stop for a closer look!

The X-Vert Carbon looks so good! Bummer that yours cracked. I still have my Supernova, the little sibling of that fork. Maybe not quite as cool as the Millenium though...
