Dec 8, 2019Rocky Mountain Slayer 50, Medium
$850 USDMostly stock except KS Lev dropper seatpost, PRO handlebars, and Specialized flat pedals (super grippy). Bike runs fine, just some creaks as you might expect from a 2012 bike. It's a great do-everything bike, from epic back country rides to dirt jumping. Forward-leaning cockpit keeps you from looping out on the steep climbs despite the 160 mm fork. (Note, frame is a medium but size is technically 16.5" because of the frame design.) Selling it cuz I'm moving overseas and trying to consolidate. The wheels are 26".
$850 Cash only. Pick up from Pacific Beach.

Feb 11, 2017Medium Yeti 303R DH
$1500 USDMedium 2011 Yeti 303R DH built by Big Tree Bikes (now EVO) in Seattle. This is a super fun, playful DH bike that is just as at home pulling whips and tables as it is plowing through a rock garden. It's got its fair share of scratches/cable rub on the paint, but as you can see the thing still looks sick. I had it serviced (including fork and shock) a couple years ago, but then I only rode it a couple times before putting it in storage. Selling it now to buy a XC bike for the wife.
Rides and feels great! The only real issues with it are a couple dents on the rear rim and a worn out (but still totally functional) rear hub.
Specs:
Fork: Fox 40 w/ Kashima coat
Rear shock: Fox DHX RC4
Wheels: Shimano Saint hubs w/ Mavic 729 rear rim and 721 front
Tires: Maxxis Minion DHF (harder compound that lasts forever but still has plenty of grip)
Rear derailleur: Shimano Saint
Cranks: Shimano Saint
Chainguide: E13
Brakes: Shimano XT (the ones w/ the sexy moto-style reservoir on the calipers)
Pedals: Wellgo sealed flats
Handlebars: Funn Fatboy
Grips: ODI Ruffian (brand new)
Stem: Gravity Light
Seat/post: Pro
Price is fair but firm. Local pickup only.

Video: Bring Back Some Soul
I swear Pinkbike just posts the weakest BMX edits so all the mountain bikers will feel better about themselves. There are so many way gnarlier web vids out there that are set to soul music haha.

Video: Chris Kovarik - Summer of Summit - The Dirt Chronicles
First of all, awesome video. Second of all, the song wasn't badass ENOUGH if you ask me. Anyone who thinks Atreyu is like, hard, or something needs to hear some real shit. Just imagine some high speed shreddage leading up to a slo-mo whip/scrub/drift montage starting at 1:15 on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I67f3khYE5Q
Money.

2012 4X Pro Tour - Slavik and Beerten win Round One
I was expecting a way sicker course from this 4x only event. Where's the pro line? Until the features are bigger than Xgames downhill BMX I'm not going to care about 4x.
