It's also so variable on terrain and altitude, I bikepacked to Barcelona, tarmac, gravel and singletrack 1000miles and averaged 80-100 miles a day, coastal paths and canals so low elevation. Same bike and setup as when we did the trans cambrian way, the whole route was only105 miles and i took us 3 days and that was wayyyy harder, more elevation, welsh mud, welsh rain etc etc.
Sometimes just camping is the point too, we'll do 10 miles round loops from the house just to camp in the woods and cook on a fire. It's all valid as long as your having fun

Does the timer start when the bar moves, or when it snaps back to it's normal position, because if it's the second it's kind of irrelevant, either way just make the gate and the timer the same width then people can't go round it deliberately or accidently

I mean I rate the joke, but the fence is deffo there to catch riders that slip out so they don't hit a tree at 60 kph and die so it's one of the few things about ski biking I'm not going to throw any shade at...
